Hello. I'm about to be a CVT and it takes me a while to read cytologies, especially if there's a lot of debris. On days the team isn't busy it's not a big deal but on a day like yesterday they need results quick. It takes me an average of 13 minutes to read a fecal cytology. It takes the other techs there less than 5 minutes. I read it from the very top of the slide to the very bottom and adjust the fine focus throughout. For me I'd rather take longer and make sure nothing is missed than to rush through it. This is my first tech job. And I feel like the girls there feel like I'm a drag on the workflow because of how long it takes me. I don't understand how they can read it so quickly.
