Does anyone have any experience with rain ponchos like this?

Iām thinking of getting one for the rain as my Vespa is my primary mode of transportation. I have a windshield so I would probably cut a hole to accommodate that which would also help keep it in place. I have a GTS 300, would something like this be safe?
