...Why can’t we see what Illusion skins we’ve already extracted from weapons?

So after doing a bit of extracting (for the first time) and a good bit more looking around, I noticed there is absolutely no way at all to see what skins you have already extracted unless you place a weapon of the same weapon type as the skin you have already extracted in the slot to imbue it with a new skin. I think it’s absolutely absurd that you don’t have the ability to even see a LIST of weapon skins you have already extracted, let alone preview what they actually look like in case you took the illusion out a month ago and got a better weapon for a different weapon class and forgot.
