I am a new Vermintide player. Enjoying the Beta so far, except for a few things such as no unique pictures for items (they all look the same but hopefully thats just for beta), no stats for items, and sometimes it feels like the dodge mechanic just doesn't work. For instance on the dodge mechanic, the big guys with the axe are swinging at me, I do a dodge step back as he is swinging and yet, I am still hit because the game lunges him forward even more. I tried side stepping as well, still fucking hits me. No point in having dodge in the game if it doesn't work.
Anyways, on the the graphics. Is it just me or is the shading in the game pretty crappy? I love the game, but on Extreme settings on 1440P running at over 100FPS, the game still makes certain things like plants and walls look like shitty cell shading and makes it look unnatural. On top of that, the brightness/lighting in the game just seems fucked. No matter what I change it too, the game is either just too bright or too dark when you transition from inside to outside and day/night.
Anyone have optimal graphics settings to make the game look better?
Thanks all for hearing me out.
