Brand new to vermiculture and looking for tips for newbies!

Hi! My work gave me a worm factory for free and I was wondering if anyone had any tips? I live in an area where summers can reach about 90F and winters can hit -20F. I would only be able to keep my worms outside. Thanks for any advice, it’s so appreciated!
