Hi there, fellow worm wranglers! Reaching out for some advice on how to remove urine from rabbit manure without pre-composting. A nearby rabbit ranch lets folks haul off as much rabbit manure as they want, which I understand is something that worms love to eat. The catch is that the cages are over bins that catch the feces and urine that drop through. The bins are then dumped into 30-gallon kiddie pools, where the manure turns into a stinking slurry. (The smell is really quite something.)
Is there a way to flush out the urine? My lot is so small that I do not have room to precompost the slurry for a few months before adding it to the outdoor worm bins. Any advice would be much appreciated.
