I rent my a home from my mom and the shower diverter hasn’t worked since this past Thursday morning she came by Friday and couldn’t fix it herself ( of course she can’t, she’s not a plumber). I think asked her to hire someone because i just started a job as a new medical assistant and I need to shower. My hair is so long washing it in the sink would be a night mare. She then threatens to raise the rent. Little does she know she cannot retaliate in that way, I have the Washington state landlord-tenant rights citing she cannot and am willing to share with her. I tried removing the faucet myself to replace it and the pipe is so old it crumbed apart and broke off in the faucet. This isn’t going to be a quick fix. Please keep in mind she lives in a million dollar home with her money bags husband. Anyway a plumber is coming Monday and I’m really anxious about how she’s going to retaliate against me.
