This isca vent. So I (16f) like to dress like it's the 40s and 30s and sometimes 20s. So a bit of context I loved all that stuff ever since I was very young I loved the music, clothes and technology. And when I started to dress like it my parents where fine with it they didn't say anything about it.

My mom loved it. Same for my dad and everyone is general. But after a couple of months my parents started to ask me if I was going to dress like a "normal teenager". At first I didn't think of it as anything bc they have told me that before.

But now my dad has been saying it more often and today I couldn't wear what I usually wear because we where just going out for 5 minutes. So I was going to change until my dad said. "Please dress like a normal teenager"

At that point I got a bit mad but didn't say anything so I just dressed "normal" I hated every minute of it and my dad added more to the fire.

By saying "you look better with the normal teenager costume" I got fucking mad but again I don't saying I don't want to hurt his feelings I love him to much to say anything about his comment same for my mom. Like at least I'm not dressing like how my older sisters used to dress!! At least be happy about.
