AHHHHHH!!!! I come here with no one else to vent to because this issue is small for most but SO HUGE in my brain that it makes me sound insane to everyone else the more I talk about it.

SO, I live with 3 men all aged 21, they work Trade jobs and don’t spend much time at home other than to relax after work, whereas I (F/20) work from home as a freelance graphic designer so I am always here. The owner of the house has re-arranged the living room into a nightmare, twice now! Couches in front of doors, blocking light - he’s removed seats so there aren’t enough places for everyone to sit, and completely fucked up my workspace!!!

I expressed the first time that the layout was bad and everyone else agreed, so after many nights passed of me trying not to rearrange on my own, I made a to-scale digital replica of the living room to show better ways of setting up the living room so there would be clear pathways, no blocked light and plenty of outlets for power. It looked good! Everyone agreed! I went away for the weekend and the boys rearranged again.... ITS WORSE!

I don’t understand why my opinion has been disregarded completely! I think some of my rage comes from constantly picking up and cleaning up after these boys- now that my space has been fucked with and I’m going to explode!!!

I feel like I don’t have a place to rearrange myself because it’s not my house I just pay some rent.

Thanks to whoever read this far, I probably sound nuts. When I was younger we had a cat that got diagnosed with depression because we sold it’s favourite chair. Now I know how Hokey felt.
