My wife cannot seem to fend for herself. She has ZERO self confidence because her parents always treated her sister better. She doesn't take criticism well at all because her sister (a total fuckup) was always praised for being mediocre and my wife hardly at all for being excellent in school, so now all she wants to hear is "good job" and nothing different. She complains about "being fat" but refuses to stick to a diet or go to the gym due to her lack of self confidence. She cannot cook and was never taught how by her parents. She cannot even buy groceries! I'm deployed and she spends $200-$300 more PER MONTH on groceries for herself than we did when both of us were home!

Love her to death...but her parents fucked her up.
