I need to vent about my hate for AI deepfakes and ''Art''.

I feel like what “Ai artists” don’t understand is arts is supposed to mean something. It’s supposed to come from a place of emotion, experience, and struggle. It’s personal and imperfect and that’s exactly why it’s powerful. Art isn’t supposed to be perfect. Art is Art.

AI art is just NONE of those things. It’s so stupidly slick, calculated, and, frankly, useless. It does more bad than good. Half the time the face is all fucked up from the computer calculating it wrong.

It’s just so stupid. I saw a video of a pregnant Jay Z giving birth to Diddys child and the child became Drake like what the fuck?

Ignorant people keep talking about AI art like it’s some great thing. Sure, it can churn out pretty pictures in seconds, but is that really what we want art to be? Fast? Convenient? This isn’t SHEIN. We’re not a fast fashion company or a fast food place….

It’s just… so bloody boring, no matter how polished the end result looks.

And honestly, what does it say about us if we’re okay with letting machines take over something as deeply human as creativity? Are we really that lazy, that disconnected, that we’re fine giving our self-expression to a fucking algorithm? Creating art is about so much more than just the final product…. It’s also about the process and all the learning during making the arts, the experimenting, learning from your errors, finding the right techniques and the growth etc.

I know technology and AI has its place, but not here. Not in art. Art is one of the few things we have that’s raw and real and human. It’s ours. Leave it and let it be a human made thing ffs. Now idiots are letting ai take that too!

Letting AI into that space feels like giving up a part of what makes humans creative.. I don’t care how “advanced” it gets. In fact the more advanced the worse it is. AI will never make art that matters, because it doesn’t have what we have. It doesn’t feel. It doesn’t live. And it never will.

Even though most of it is garbage, no matter how impressive it can look, it just feels so empty to me, like something pretending to be art but missing the thing that makes it real. Ai art will NEVER be real art. And putting a Text and taking the image doesn’t make you the artist. It makes you someone who typed a prompt. You can usually tell when a piece of art is made with ai. It looks so crappy and fake.

With AI, there is no person. There’s no pain, no joy, no backstory. It’s just a program spitting out whatever the fuck you told it to generate. How can that possibly compare to something that comes from a real human being? It can’t.

And let’s not ignore the ethical mess behind all this…. It’s built on the backs of countless human artists, stealing bits and pieces of their work to create something “new.” Except it’s not new it’s recycled, regurgitated, and, worst of all, uncredited from the actual fucking artists. These programs don’t create; they copy and steal. And yet somehow, they’re being praised??? while real artists are left behind…???

speaking of ethics did I mention the part where in like 20 years we’ll probably be having ai videos and stuff used as evidence in court and we don’t be able to tell the difference between real and fake? Ai is dangerous and it’s being used for the wrong reasons already. Yes it has benefits but people are using it for CP, making deepfakes of people to get off to, you know what I’m talking about. Hope you’re happy, “ai artists”
