Unnecessary foot surgery, unhealed and in pain

Post Body

I am 3 months post op from a foot surgery I didn't need (according to my new podiatrist, since the bone healed years ago) and now I'm no longer healing. I have been in pain the past 3 days, taking the prescribed pain meds I saved for bad days and yet I'm still waking up in constant pain. I have sat down, tried to take showers while sitting, and just overall not exert myself. I had a screw placed in a fracture that supposedly hasn't healed. Well, now where they put it in is not healing at ALL. They are scheduling a second surgery on June 4th to remove screw, move tendons and possibly fix my heel tendons that originally caused all the pain and falling. Did I mention I'm 38, parent to 3 kids and been out of work since January? Luckily I have a partner who can work but it's just so much. My partner was diagnosed with a lung clot, found out they couldn't medically transition and we have been so broke that we are just barely getting by. I am just so sad currently and hurting so much. I have reached out to family but all they seem to care about is how much worse they have it. I just wanna stop the pain so I can focus on school work and spending time with my kids and partner.
