Writing thoughts out just helps
Post Body

I get so pissed off when I see videos of "intrusive thoughts" and it's people breaking plates, shaving their head, and just random impulses. I never really considered those intrusive thoughts though. Now I feel like it might have to do more with my own issues than anything else but those impulses aren't intrusive. Those random thoughts of silly actions, like who doesn't get those. If they harm others its shitty but again the person seems a very willing participant. Intrusive means unannounced and for me that might look like hmmm let's see. Say you're watching a Pixar movie and sipping some wine after a long day and then unprompted and for no reason you're brain starts playing a memory of when you slipped in a kitchen in middle school and at the last second avoided the sharp metal countertop from bashing your skull and what a regret that was because it could have all been over and done with. So it's off-putting to see what I consider a rough mental experience at the lightest of times turned into clickbait. I also truly hate "pranks" and people recording themselves being absolute dipshits in general because I'm old and hate being bothered in public.
