So, I come home from college during winter and summer break, and it feels like my parents want a tight rope on me at all times- when I’m at school I’m able to go out whenever I want, talk to people, do my own thing. As I should be able to do. But when I’m home, they operate under the assumption that all people you meet on the internet are bad and meeting them in person is dangerous and all these things. They won’t let me LIVE MY LIFE! It doesn’t help that we only have two cars between 4 people, but that’s working itself out. I just want them to let me live my life!
