So I've been studying in Copenhagen since January and ever since I got here I've felt short. I'm 25M 5'7½ which is just below average in the states but the average Dane is about 2in taller than the average American. Some of the people here are giants and have to duck into doorways and all the females here are about my height or taller. I'm not someone who normally feels that self conscious about their appearance but everyone on dating apps are looking for someone shorter then them or specifically 6ft . I'm now single for the first time in my adult life jumping from one long term relationship to another since I was 16. I've not gotten any tinder matches or interest from anyone in my Uni since becoming single about 6 months ago. I'm not discouraged, I'm trying to take better pics for my profile and be more social but it's still a nagging thought. I would prefer to date someone shorter than me so I can understand why I girl would want to date someone taller. I'm not saying that's the reason my love life is non existent, it's just an attribute of myself I can't control compared to my general appearance. I hope I posted this in the right place to vent, thanks for reading!
