Murano beginning of January?

We are wondering how busy Murano is in January 3/4. We don't like to be there with masses of people. Is it worth to reserve the precious first hours of the day for Murano or is it at this time of the year anyway not so busy there, so a visit for instance in the afternoon is absolutely ok.
