What do you guys say when asked โ€œWhy are you vegetarian?โ€ without offending someone?
Post Body

I always feel like when I explain myself then people assume I think Iโ€™m morally superior so I just say โ€œ oh I donโ€™t know it just weirds me out โ€œ Iโ€™m curious what others say.

I usually say something along the lines of, "I find meat to be kinda gross." It's nice and vague, so people can interpret it as, "I just don't like meat very much," which is honestly true because I've never liked meat much, even as a kid when I lived with my parents. But really what I mean is that one day, I really started to think about the fact that I was eating the actual flesh of a living creature and was absolutely disgusted and could never do it again.
