This is in Vegas 17

So this is a bug that I have never seen before. When I add fx to a single clip every video will start bugging out. 100% of the time the video that had the fx applied to it will turn off. The audio will still be working fine for everything but the video itself will just act as if it was never there. If I add another fx to that clip then sometimes the video will stay broken and sometimes it will come back with none of the fx applied to it. Other clips will start acting up too. Sometimes when I click on another clip it won't show in the preview either. Some times it won't show up, then it will, then it won't again. Removing the fx from the original clip fixes everything. And I am not trying to use some crazy fx. Just gaussian blur is causing all of this. I have looked around for other solutions but I can't find anything to fix this.

EDIT: Adding track motion to one of the tracks instantly fixed everything.... I don't even know. I would like to know how to actually fix this though.

FIX: Preview quality was set to "Good" > "Full." Setting it to basically any other preview quality fixed the problem.
