Yesterday i took my first video with my Sony a6400, but i am not able to get it into Vegas Pro. I have googled and tried everything, and it seems like the audio encoder used on the camera is the cause of the issue.
The recording come out as MP4, AVC video stream and PCM audio stream. For recordings on elgato from my phone, they come out as MP4, AVC video stream and AAC LC audio and these do work.
Is there any possible way to change this way of encoding so i can get them into Vegas Pro? Or find the right encoder for Vegas?
Vegas is very fickle with formats, even mp4s are sometimes not satisfactory. Perhaps use handbrake or other converters to stabilise the format a bit.
