Non-Vegans are disgusted over Fair Oaks Farms, but will forget about it just as fast as the media does.
Post Body
One of my masculine, conservative friends even posted about it on Facebook, saying, 'If anyone says “it’s not abuse we’ve just adapted harvesting/hunting as a human species” after watching this, you disgust me'
So I commented, reasonably asking him if he is Vegan...The answer, "Nope."
Am I wrong in seeing this massive disconnect here? I feel like this is a microcosm of society at large. We see a problem, but expect someone else to wave a magic wand, and fix it. We refuse to come together for anything.
