Here are a couple.
Canned beans suck. Buy dry beans, soak, cook, place on a cookie sheet & freeze (so they freeze individually). Once frozen, transfer to some sort of sealed container* & keep them in the freezer. If they're a little stuck to the tray, just set the tray on the counter and wait a few minutes, they'll un-stick pretty quickly.
Now you can grab a handful of non-sucky beans whenever you want. To thaw, just soak in warm water for a few minutes.
(*Note: Planters Peanuts are not vegan. Some other brands in a similar square container are, and that square container is perfect for stacking in the freezer.)
Put crushed pineapple in zucchini/carrot type breads. It keeps the bread from drying out.
