The “Happy” chick company..
Post Body

https://www.thehappychickcompany.co.uk

I spoke to the owner (Madeline) of the business on the phone pretending to be a potential customer, I’ve never heard the word “ethical” used sooo many times in 1 phone call… like genuinely must’ve been about 10 times 🤦‍♂️

The information I found out is that she rents out the nursery equipment to the customer (comes with a chick) and then after about 9 days the customer gives the chick and equipment back, the chick will then go to 1 of the 14 “small holding farms” that Madeline works with. These will then be used for eggs or food… or eggs and then food. Let’s be real we all know what their future looks like and it’s nothing short of misery and suffering 😓

Ps: the chick in the picture is one that I tried to rescue but the idiot I know won’t let me take it 😣
