TL;DR: Good job support and R&D/Testing at Veeam!
I have been in the IT field for only 4 years, but this occurrence that I had an issue with a piece of software my customer paid for where:
- I did the log collection, debugging and reporting work and sent it to the software developer as a good user
- Waited (1 month)
- The software developer gets back to me with a working fix that isn't just "restart your stuff" (they send a new DLL and some SQL script to update the VAC DB)
This is by the book. How things should be. Not a user stuck fencing with first level of support trying to desperately make the understand the issue and prove that it is an actual issue. Its almost like dealing with a software company that isn't afraid to admit fault and say we are going to fix it. Just like there aren't many people like that there are not that many software companies like that.
Good job Veeam support, R&D, testers and the management that built this system and policies)!
