Just the above, I feel like I remember hearing Bill Clinton was the first Democrat to take the strategy of toeing the line with republicans, compromising on progressive issues and letting the republicans set the narrative.

It seems like we have been in that with a reprieve with Obama specifically. It has always felt like democrats have been held to this impossibly high standard of being diplomatic and not being themselves.

This new joy with Kamala and Walzs’ almost trump-like willingness to call shit out is the most refreshing feeling I’ve experienced since Bernie’s first campaign.
