Trouble taking it to pound town?

Had surgery on NOV 25, 2019. Had a great recovery, not to many issues. Problem is when I take it to pound town, I can’t go nearly as hard as I use to be able to go, maybe 50%. As soon as they get the slapping, dull pain kicks in and I have to slow down and sometimes carries over into the next day. Any insight?
