Got the procedure done 5 days ago now and want to share my lessons learned along the way.
Do ice every 20 minutes on and 40-60 minutes off like clockwork the first few days. This greatly reduces inflammation overall. Do buy supportive underwear early on, I didnāt until the 4th day and regretted every day I didnāt do it sooner. After your done and healed just throw them away.
Not a doctor. Do take ibuprofen for the first two to three days but stop after the 4th. Since ibuprofen thins your blood it reduces inflammation but also can develop a hematoma or more bruising.
I had one single incision for my procedure and found that some clinics donāt do the two dot and laser treatments if they are not setup for it. Shop around and find one that does. Iāve got a really odd scar forming and wish I would have looked for a clinic that does that since my insurance covered it.
Question for all of you, sitting still it doesnāt hurt at all but when or if Iām laying down and then get out of bed or stand up it hurts and then resides after 20-30 seconds. Have you all had that at all? Iām planning on not the pipe clearing process until that kind of pain goes away.
Thanks all!
Yeah, I think Iāve experienced what you describe, especially in the early days when I was lying down a lot. I think maybe it just has to do with the fact that I was really relaxed in that position, and going from that really jostled the boys. Also maybe a bit of a mental thing, for me, since lying down for a nap or sleep involved not doing anything else and thatās when I became most āawareā of my testicles haha
