Had the procedure 4/12. During the procedure I felt "discomfort" and not necessarily pain. Doc was shocked when I told him I could feel certain things. I felt him pull a string like thing that stretched from my waistline and the snip from clippers, (no pain, just discomfort I can't explain.) Dr. gave me another shot of the local anesthetic. From leaving the office until going to sleep 8hrs later I had the lingering sensation of having been hit in the balls 15min prior. I tried to lift a 13gal trash bag out of the trash can when I got home and almost fainted, walking up stairs was a task as well. Both activities made my testicles feel like they were being squeezed. Icing with frozen peas was immediate relief I didnt know I needed. (You are icing the balls and not the incision.) Took 1000mg of Tylenol that relieved an overall 'sensation' I was feeling in my balls. My balls were really sore to the touch so I needed a pillow in-between my legs for sleeping because normally they kind of just roll out of the way of my thighs but in this case they were kind of 'fixed' in place and stiff.
4/13 I had no pain or discomfort except when walking up stairs, sneezing, or crouching. Incision area looks good. I was given Norcos 7.5 and antibiotics. I've had issues abusing medication before so I didn't use the norcos. Haven't needed them so far, nor the Tylenol.
4/14 balls still kind of sore to the touch and sensitive. Overall discomfort is slowly going away. Feels like I'm healing well.
I’m almost two weeks out. I’d advise caution as you start to feel better. I felt like I was close to 100% on day 5 but week 2 has been tougher than week 1. Definitely understand what you mean by “sensation”. It’s not quite pain but it’s definitely not fun.
