Looking for empathy and reassurance tbh, I’ve told my doctor my concerns and they have told me it’s normal.
I got my vasectomy April 2nd, definitely an uncomfortable experience but not painful per se. Stayed home all week, but was feeling well enough on Saturday to go out and about with my girlfriend. A bit of walking, nothing crazy. That went fine!
On Monday, since I was totally fine masturbated, felt fine during and after. Thinking I’m fine! I guess you’d call that Day 6. So I tried again on day 7, and again felt fine but then later in the day I felt nauseous and lightheaded, with sensation in the groin, not pain.
Since then, I took it easy again (all my doctor said to do) and yesterday felt pretty much normal, thinking it’d be ok to go outside to a street fair with my girlfriend. We maybe had to do 10ish minutes of walking, and something about the way my balls felt in the heat, they sort of dropped, and it didn’t hurt but it was a strong sensation.
Worth mentioning that I struggle with anxiety (if you can’t tell) and this feeling brought on a panic attack. (I hadn’t eaten much and also a bit high and hungover, not great I know I know). I didn’t have pain in my balls, again just that odd sensation, like over awareness.
Anyone out here had experience with it seeming to be worse after a week? I just feel like it’s so hard to tell when I’ll be good to try physical activity / sex.
Shoot sorry to hear that, I hope it gets better!
Yeah, it’s been off and on. Today was the most activity I’d done since last weekend, which I felt fine during.
Thanks for that perspective! When did that end?
Yeah that was the weird thing, I was able to clean the pipes. But now it’s going to be a while for sure, I don’t think I can bring myself to do that
Thanks man, this was a really kind reply. Apt username!
