Return to running/post op complications
Post Body

Hey all, so I’m using a throwaway juuuuust in case here.

I’m active duty army, and I was not approved by the urologists here. (Too young and not enough kids) I found one somewhat close by who is booked out 8 months, but luck may have it that he had a cancellation THIS THURSDAY (6 days) so I reserved a spot. Then I requested that Thursday and Friday off. I have a second job working in a hotel, but it’s mostly just sitting around, some light standing.

Anyway would about 36 hours of rest be enough before going to the hotel job?

More importantly how long until you can realistically run again?

All questions asked because I am actually doing this in secret. There’s a million hoops to jump through and paperwork to do for the army to be cool with it, and there’s not enough time to do that.

Just wondering if it sounds like I’ll be okay? Ie not too many complications expected, I can easily get out of exercise for a solid 10 days post op before questions start to be raised.
