Just had a traditional vasectomy done, one incision in the middle of my scrotum. The whole procedure was about 20 min long and only had a little quick pain on my right side during the procedure. I opted for nitrous oxide which was great and definitely helped me tune out any anxiety.
Now, before surgery I was under the impression I was getting clips put only on the vas side (open ended)… but during surgery I asked her how many clips were going in and she responded “seven” and I made the surprised pikachu face… she said “don’t worry, you want this to be as permanent as can be anyway”.
So, naturally, I am worried af right now that I got the wrong procedure and am going to end up one of the unlucky guys…
Can y’all help me calm my mind and just recover right now?
