Howdy y’all,

So I am getting a scalpel procedure at my urologists office on Wednesday. I am excited about this as I’ve been wanting to be sterilized for 4 years now… I am also understandably nervous too, but I can deal with that.

Right now what I am most nervous about is having this greatly impact my summer. I am a Full time musician (I can take a week off for initial recovery), so I need to be able to move/carry a bit for performing. I also live by the beach and am an avid surfer this time of year. I am nervous I am going To end up with prolonged pain through the summer and miss out on good times with my people…

Can someone assuage my fears? Also, any great prep ideas?
