Kanger Dripbox Problem

I keep getting a burnt taste on my new Dripbox. I honestly don't know why. I've tried both dripping and using the tank at the bottom, but it just tastes good for one or two hits and then it's back to burnt. I have never used a RDA before and it's entirely possible I'm doing this completely wrong and just don't understand when/how to drip. Any input is welcome!
