Switched from caliburn G2 to Caliburn X, and I can’t stop coughing/spitting flem.

Post Body

I decided to get the caliburn X last week as I’ve had enough with the inconsistent quality of the caliburn G2.

I’ve also been reading that MTL is better than DTL for your lungs, gives a smoother and easier vaping hit, and overall slightly healthier vaping that way. So it made sense to try the caliburn x.

The second I switched I’ve been coughing like a madman, and spitting flem here and there. How could this make sense if it’s supposed to be easier on the lungs and throat? I feel I’m missing something here!!

What could be causing this? I am using a 1.2ohm pod with 10mg salt nic (which I dilute in half with a pure clear liquid from the vape shop, that has no flavour or nicotine). I’ve found this helps to compensate for the overly strong and potent flavours in the juice that is overwhelming. And the fact that you can’t go lower than 10mg for salt nic, this solved both issues. It worked perfectly fine on the G2.

I’ve been vaping for a few years now and never really felt this with the G2. It’s helped me tremendously cut down on cigarettes to a point where I’m on 3 cigarettes max a day from almost a pack. And I smoke 2-3 small joints a day not down from at least 5/day beforehand.

Suffice to say that even if we agree vaping isn’t the healthiest, its helped me cut down tremendously on the real toxins. But what can explain all this coughing? And I’ve even been feeling very tired.

Thanks for any insights my redditors!
