Now, I am a nic salt user currently. Years ago when I first tried vaping, nic salt wasn't available. I absolutely loved the flavors, the creamy custardy ones were amazing. I can't even remember the rig I had, but I spent a decent amount on it and it was a high quality one for the time. (I started with DAWG FIGHT, raspberry delight I think it was called. I see it's still available now.)
The problem was, it didn't help me quit smoking. Nic salt pods (juul specifically) destroyed that nasty habit really well.
I've moved on to different devices used to vape salt. The smaller pod-like tanks, to refillable disposable pods. I find that the coils in these types of devices do not handle the custardy dessert types of juice, and the flavor seems to get "peppery" in these types, long before you'd expect it to.
So is that common across all types of juice and devices? Or is freebase a bit better in that variety? Can you get something with a more robust coils to handle the thick, sugary juices?
If switching to freebase, is DIY juice worth it?? It seems stupid easy, and some of the recipes sound delicious!
