Back in the day when I was in high school and skated a lot, mid 1980's, I bought a couple of pairs of Vans (Era, though I don't know if they had that name back then). They were all suede uppers and the sole was a denser blue material, that looked smooth, but was siped like a boat shoe. I bought them at a Vans store in San Fernando or maybe Reseda. Just wondering if anyone has any information on this sole. Thanks.
