👋 hi all. Dropping a note here to call attention to some recent rule changes to this sub. In an effort to combat spam, scams and improve the overall quality of posts on this sub, we’ve enacted some changes to the rules. Namely:

1. No solicitation - this one seems pretty obvious and failure to enforce it will result in this sub being removed
2. Local connections only - way too many spammers and scams using low quality promotion bots/services for users in Vancouver BC. These posts will be removed. Portland and Seattle are fair game but if you’re in Spokane expect extra scrutiny for your post history.
3. No content promotion or promotion of things like kik, telegram, discord, etc. These posts are low effort and almost always fake. They won’t be allowed going forward.

New rules are active on the description of the sub.

We will also be implementing karma and account age requirements in the near future.

Mods are open to other suggestions for how to improve content quality going forward. I’d particularly like to cut down on all the fake “F19 looking for a daddy” posts after the new rules are in effect.
