Don't do CS unless you know you love it
Post Body

For all you yet to be CS undergrads, don't do CS. Times have changed, the market is completely oversaturated, new grads already find it difficult to get a job and it will likely only get worse 10-20 years down the line.

Unless you know you are good and love doing this shit, don't do CS.

No, there are fields that do have a shortage. Medical fields for example like PSWs, doctors and RMTs. But the jobs that have a shortage of people working them have a shortage because they're not very viable or easily achievable to begin with. You either have to train most of your life, sinking in unimaginable amounts of time, effort and money just to get the necessary qualifications or they're not sustainable long term because you work long hours, literally hurting your own body every minute you're at work.

Essay? I don't think you're responding to the right person.

I'm saying even if it is easier to get these jobs, which it is, the jobs themselves are not easy.

I never claimed computer science workers are not under more pressure. That's a strawman argument.
