Hitting the back button just puts it in the background and makes the sound of the video continue. I can see how thats useful for some situations, but why does it use the back button, which normally closes apps? Can I disable this somehow? Is there another convenient way to close Vanced?
I know you can switch to popup video and then close that, or close the video first and then leave Vanced, but I don't think that's convenient at all. It's often the case that I want to close Vanced quickly without fuss.
Edit: Yes I know the back button doesn't really close apps and I know this is a feature. However,
- I think closing or pausing the video when using the back button to leave the app would be normal, expected behaviour.
- The current behaviour of the back button is what I would rather expect from the home button. Instead of using the home button for video popup, I think it would make more sense to add a button to Vanced's GUI for that.
- Furthermore even if you disagree with those points, there should definitely be some way to quickly leave the app and stop the video.
- Even furthermore, once you have left the app and the audio continues playing, there seems to be no way to stop it without opening the app again, which is extremely annoying.
- At least other media players give you a notification with playback controls. I haven't found such an option in Vanced.
I hope that clarifies that this is a real and not an imagined problem, and pre-empts some obvious objections.
