I took the top off to fix the canvas a few years ago and I refiberglassed the top while I could and decided to make her more visible and paint it my favorite color- orange! Thank you!
Right??? I love how OPEN this van is with the windows and pop up. I get in sprinters or transits etc sometimes without windows and it feels... different. I cook in here 3x a day and always have music or a podcast going. I cruise around and look for "spots" and I generally just feel grateful to wake up and open my doors like this. It's so cool. I'm so glad YA KNOW WHAT I MEAN! Hope this mornings view finds you exactly where you need π
Last month in California then Oregon for friends Bachelor and Bachelorette wknds! Let's be honest... I rarely go out, let alone wear shoes... but when I do- I put on those boots! Meowπ€£π
There are literally public toilets everywhere so I plan accordingly. I have a pee bucket with a lock top that I use, dump and rinse when needed. But for number 2, I use public toilets, the dropzone facilities I stay at, gas stations, rest stops, work, or in nature- dig a hole and poop in the ground. If not possible or emergency, I replace the liner of my pee bucket with a bag, use that, then bag it and toss it afterwards. π€£ you think it's gonna be a big concern but I can tell you that I've barely had to consider it these past few years! I usually post up at public beaches or trails during the day and there are always facilities there so that's nice.
Omg MOSEY AND ROSIE! I love it! And def not stealing, SHARING!π
I haven't heard of that! But I'm busy this wknd- flying to Oregon. You got a vanagon too???
I'm only flying there for the wknd for a friend's wedding. Then I'm back on the east coast.
Man I LOVE working on this thing. Such a simple motor! At least if I break down I can usually fix it myself, whereas I wouldn't even know where to start with a modern vehicle! I've been lucky tho, I take care of her and she takes care of me! Plus, if something is wrong, after 6.5 years I can usually hear it and have an idea of where to start- she talks to ya! But yea if you don't have much mechanical experience or don't wanna learn, they def aren't the right vehicle.
I work seasonal jobs. I've done 1.5 years between dropzones in the skydiving industry and I also work online to supplement income. Also worked in the cannabis industry for awhile- trimming and traveling.

Uffff I FEEL THAT SO MUCH! My van is named Mosey so I always say, "cozy in mosey" and nothing makes me happier really. Hiding inside and listening to the rain anywhere is one of the sweetest things.
