Vandalier and arcana interaction

Hey guys,

How does vandalier scale with the arcanas? Specifically the speed and duration one. I noticed ebony wings/peachone with the speed one did great but once it was evolved into vandalier it literally did no dps, it seemed due to the speed change it didn't get time to really hit anything. Is this normal, was it just me and a weird combination of CD and maybe extra speed or whatever causing this? Same goes to the duration arcana and its interaction with vandalier. How exactly does any of it work? Thanks
