so i’ve been using my index for months now on my razed blade 15. it’s not optimal but it works fine. until yesterday. since then i have been getting error 213, “laptop display disconnected please blah blah.” i’ve bought new usb c to dp adapters as a common issue i’ve seen with error 213 was that. but nothing is working. factory reset pc. redownload steam vr, enable direct display mode. i’m savvy but not overall knowledgeable enough to figure this out and more than anything i’m so scared it’s my 3.0 type c port. which is my only way to connect to my gpu/cpu on my laptop. if anyone has any suggestions i’d appreciate them more than you’d believe. thank you guys. now my cable matters adapter says “could run faster if connected to 3.0” when it is.. could that be a part of it.
