Valorant stops recording key input

Has anyone had the issue where valorant will randomly stop accepting your key inputs? For example sometimes when holding "W" to move forward, valorant will treat the key as if it's been let go randomly and my character will stop moving. This only happens in valorant and happens to me when using different keyboards as well. Can't find any posts on this, does anyone have a fix?
