Looking to get my “forever” vacuum. How’s the Miele Blizzard CX1 Cat and Dog?

So I finally got a job that lets me purchase things that won’t break in a month or a year, so the vacuum is the next upgrade.

I’ve done some research here and other places, and I’ve landed on the Miele Blizzard CX1 Cat and Dog Vacuum. It is pretty pricy, so I wanted to see if anyone has any thoughts on it or something similar before I went for it.

I do have pets, and would love something bagless. I also have a lot of area rugs on hard wood, so it’s a 50/50 split. (I also know that there is no such thing as a “forever” piece of equipment, but anything that will last a long long time)

Thoughts? Other recommendations?
