Vacuum broke. Looking for recommendations

Hello!
I live in a space that has wall-to-wall carpeting.
I’ve been using a Hoover ONEPWR Cordless vacuum for the past year. However, it’s not powerful enough to vacuum my carpet and hair so its brush stopped spinning. I’ve already called customer service and received replacements, but everything broke eventually
I want to get an upright bag-less vacuum (not cordless) that can handle carpets and long hair. Willing to spend up to $300
