Best Carpet Cleaner that’s easy to clean out?

I’m looking for the best carpet shampooer that’s specifically easy to take apart and thoroughly clean out.
I currently have the Hoover PowerDash Pet Compact Carpet Cleaner. It sucks, and it’s also very hard to clean itself when I want to rinse out the dirty water.
Does anyone have personal experience with a good carpet cleaner under $300? And easy to clean out??
