Help! Kirby Availar 2 Vacuum line and clicking issue.

Post Body

I bought this Avaliar (2?) 5 years ago. I was having problems on it not working on the 3rd click which is what it originally worked on. It also hasnā€™t been producing ā€œvacuum linesā€ like it should.

I checked the hoses, bag, and fan, and did my routine of cutting my hair off the brush that it gathers. Everything was alright except finding a battery and a couple screws in it. I also made it so putting the rim on that latches on good and tight, apparently before the right side was only latched halfway.

Itā€™s finally working on the 3rd click. But thereā€™s still a line in the middle it misses, or am I crazy? Also the light flickers in most spots but does stay on now. Before the light would be completely out and Iā€™ve been having to vacuum on click 2 which was too high.

What should I do? Do the lines look likes itā€™s picking up and working in top shape like it should? Does anything seem out of place? Please help!!!!

It also still does the annoying clicking when I push the vacuum! The Kirby technician was a nightmare. His advice for it not sucking like it used to, was that click 2 was where it should be, and that I should ā€œpush very slowā€ to see the suction /lines LOL

The clicking noise he just oiled a part up. I feel like he was no help, and wondering if thereā€™s any maintenance or anything Iā€™m doing wrong??

Thanks in advance!!!
