Anyone want to build a VX module at Burning Man next year?
Post Body

I don't know if any of my fellow burnitors from /r/Burningman are also into the obsession, but I've got some old ferrocores laying around and I bet some of them are still functional. If everyone contributed some different parts, we could build ourselves a sweet, homebrewed VX module out in the desert and see if it's possible to take an accurate Fankel reading in that environment. If we could even just approach the capabilities of a VX3, we could at least put on a rocking light show. And wouldn't it be the hight of irony if we managed to solve Dormison's Paradox through the inclusion of locally available organic chemistry? Anyone interested?
