Hypothetical question on the ‘23 recall
Post Body

I’ve got a sort of hypothetical question. I have a ‘23 RWD Pro S (just bought it end of March). Checked the the MyVW app and it has the door handle recall pop up but sadly no fix to it yet. It drives fine right now and I am happy with it. It’s a beautiful car and I love it. But let’s say I’m driving and the door suddenly open. Obvious safety issue and of course I need it addressed. I call the dealership where I got it, but what can be done? Obviously they can’t fix it but it’s a serious safety issue. I don’t want to keep driving a car that could injure me or others. Any advice on how to proceed with said hypothetical is appreciated. I like to plan ahead so just want to see/know what my options are? Do I enact my states Lemon Law (I’m on Georgia by the way)? Do I contact VW directly?
