so i recently pick up a Oculus Quest 2 and was looking to hook it up to my desktop to play VR games that i got on my steam account.

so i saw a tutorial that mention that i need to download the Oculus desktop app to make it work on SteamVR, so i did and went through the whole install process but when i got to the part to upload or pick a picture for my profile and click next. It goes to a blank grey screen and it's frozen and I can't move the window, I've tired reinstalling it, repairing it, and moving the install to a different location on my system but I can't seem to get it to work.

Has anyone else had the same issue? if so, what did you do to fix it?
