Using an Android/Chrome OS mini PC for a VPN between my TV and Netflix?

Basically, the title. I'm trying to see if it's feasible to put an Android/Chrome OS device between my TV and the router to force my TV to stream through a VPN to avoid the Netflix crackdown and get access to other regions' libraries. I don't see why it shouldn't work, in theory, but wanted to see if anyone attempted something like this and what was the outcome.
